April 27, 1912.
Miss Grace Darrade,
Secretary to Mr. Frederick W. Taylor, Highland Sta., Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia, Pa.
Dear Madam:-
Replying to your favor of April 23rd, my previous letter to Mr. Taylor was to inform him of his nomination as Alumni Trustee of Stevens Institute. Before presenting his name to be voted upon, I was desirous of knowing whether he was willing to serve, if elected. In view of Mr. Taylor's absence, it was impossible to await his return before submitting the ballot to be voted upon.
Will you therefore explain to him that it was with much regret that I had the ballot printed without his name upon It?
Very truly yours,
Charles C. Phelps, Secretary.
