be small. Where a subscription has already been made, the amount of the subscription and amount, if any, unpaid will be noted on the enclosed slip, and it is hoped that in the case of unpaid subscriptions full payment will be made to Prof. Adam Riesenberger, Stevens Institute, Hoboken. Since the original circular calling for subscriptions for the erection of a building to be devotod to the Departments of Chemistry, Physics and Languages was issued, now some seven years ago, very important changes in the curriculum and in the distribution of subjects and departments have been made as will be seen from the letter of President Morton enclosed herewith, and it would, therefore, seem desirable to modify any plans which have been suggested so as to meet the now existing conditions. Although it would appear from the past history of this movement that the new building was to be dedicated to specific uses, it is the opinion of the Committee that such modifications of the original plans as would serve to better meet the present requirements would have the full approval of the original subscribers. In order to afford ample opportunity for a presentation of their views, members who do not expect to be presant at the annual meeting of the Alumni Association are requested to communicate them in writing, addressed either to Prof. Adam Riesenberger or to any of the undersigned.
