Mr. Fred W. Taylor,
Highland Station, Chestnut Hill,
Philadelphia, Penna.
My dear Mr. Taylor:
Your favor of July 31st has come to hand. There is a great possibility of starting a course of co-operative training between the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the General Electric Co. sometime next Spring. As soon as the matter is definitely settled, shall be glad to advise you of the details.
It will indeed give me great pleasure to call on you in Philadelphia sometime during the next Fall and see in practical operation your methods of shop management. On the other hand, I trust that you will find it possible to come to Lynn sometime after September 1st, when I am sure we shall be able to show you many things that will be of interest and that will repay you for the visit.
Sincerely yours,
M.W. Alexander
