Mr. Fred Taylor,
Philadelphia, Pa.
Dear Sir:-
You will be interested to learn that a movement is under way to organize a national Society for the Promotion of Industrial Education. A committee of men deeply interested in the subject, have been working toward the organization of such a society for the past three months.
The plan of the committee is to obtain some two hundred signatures of representative publicists, men of affairs, employers, workingmen, social students, and educators, to the accompanying statement, and to use this document as a call for a public meeting to be held in New York City in the last of October, at which an organization will be perfected.
The committee trust that you will feel interested to lend your name for this purpose.
An early reply is earnestly solicited.
Very truly yours,
C.R. Richards
