Dr. H.B. Fine,
Princeton University,
Princeton, N.J.
My dear Mr. Fine:-
It was a very great disappointment to me not to be able to be with you on Friday evening. I started on my trip to Princeton, but owing to the fact that I felt very much run down was obliged to return to Chestnut Hill. I am particularly sorry that I did not realize earlier my inability to make you a visit.
I see by the papers that your meeting was a great success. Thanking you most warmly for thinking of me, believe me,
Very sincerely yours,
