My Dear Edward:-
I cannot say that I admire the type of the pictures you send to me. I am interested in Scientific Management, but not the particular type which seems to be uppermost in your mind. From your knowledge of your Aunt Lou do you not think that she would be delighted if I were to show her another sample of your intense interest in "Scientific Management."
I am delighted to hear of the sale of No. 1621 Chestnut Street. I have no doubt that we may have gotten a little more for it but a cash sale which converts an annual loss of about $1400.00 into a desirable profit is all right.
I am pleased to hear that your Golf is coming back. If you will come to me when I get back home I will give you a few pointers which you will doubtless find profitable. I am glad to note that you are not too old to learn. Unfortunately my cold hangs on and it has kept me from any Golf for nearly three weeks. I am better but it is aggravating to be deprived of golf for so long a time. I am delighted to say that Aunt Lou still improves right along and has gotten all the benefit from the trip that we had hoped for.
With a great deal of love in which Aunt Lou joins me, believe me
Very sincerely yours,
P.S. I am returning you the clipping as requested.
